Stormwater Thom, the Billabong Bloke

Stormwater Thom wanted to clean up creeks in cities so the fish and bugs would be happy and kids could splash about with no worries. He went to Australia for a summer to study and do research with the good people in Melbourne, Victoria trying to do similar things. What occurred that summer helped man, eagle, and kangaroo alike, and earned Thom the nickname "The Billabong Bloke" as his work lead to triumphant results in improving ecological health amidst highly urban watersheds.

Uluru III - Sunrise and Return

So I just wanted to throw out some more Uluru pics from sunrise on my third day because it was gorgeous. A really good night's sleep after again stargazing set me straight and I just posted up on a corner at the viewing platform, held my elbows wide, and blocked out the flurry of amateur photography around me. The strategic corner allowed me to pivot in place and take in both the sunrise itself as well as how it was lighting up the rocks as it rose without compromising my bubble.

If you think hard, prepare a little bit, and execute flawlessly, your life can be beautiful too. Enjoy!
